BMW Motorrad has introduced its most expensive electric scooter in India, the CE 04, priced at Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Known as BMW Motorrad’s most premium electric scooter, the CE 04’s price far exceeds earlier expectations of Rs 10.0 lakh, surprising many. Pan-India deliveries are expected to start from September.
CE 04 Design:
The BMW CE 04 sports a sleek, customizable maxi-style scooter look, thanks to its length of over two meters. Its bench seat and hefty front end add to its premium feel. Measuring 2,285 mm in length, 855 mm in width and 1,150 mm in height, it boasts a seat height of 780 mm.
The e-scooter rides on 15-inch wheels and features 265 mm disc brakes on both ends, with a telescopic fork at the front and a pre-loaded mono-shock suspension at the rear, which comes calibrated to BMW Motorrad ABS and automatic stability control (ASC).
CE 04 Features:
The electric scooter comes equipped with LED lights (headlight, taillight, and turn indicators), a 10.25-inch color TFT screen, an on-board computer, car-style charging, a storage compartment with charging capability, welcome lights, a windshield, keyless ride, a reversing aid and a side stand with a park brake actuator.
Additionally, you can choose between the Comfort and Dynamic optional packages. The Comfort package includes heated grips and a backrest comfort seat. The Dynamic package offers pro riding modes, a pro headlight, ABS pro, adaptive headlights, and DRLs.

CE 04 Powertrain:
The CE 04 churns power from a lithium-ion 8.5 kWh battery pack, running a permanent magnet, liquid-cooled synchronous motor. This electric motor setup, allows the powertrain to deliver a figure of 31.32 kW and 120 W. This E-Scooter can accelerate from 0-50 Kmph in just 2.6 seconds and it’s claimed top speed is around 120 Kmph with a kerb weight of 231 Kg.
The BMW CE 04 features a 2.3kW integrated home charger that can power the scooter from 0 to 80% in just 3 hours and 30 minutes. On a full charge, it generates an impressive range of 130 km (WLTP).
