In a first for India’s auto industry, the Tata Harrier EV has been seen testing on Indian roads in an uncovered form. As one of the most highly awaited electric vehicles (EV) in India, the Harrier EV is likely to arrive in the coming months. The electric variant of the best-selling Tata Harrier SUV is a milestone for Tata Motors as it strengthens its lineup of electric vehicles.

Tata Harrier EV: Design and Features

Though the Tata Harrier EV maintains the overall shape of its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, the electric model has a set of unique and futuristic design cues. The most striking of these modifications is the closed front grille. The new bumpers have vertical slats, adding to the beauty of the vehicle and performance. The aerodynamically styled alloy wheels add a finishing touch to the EV’s emphasis on efficiency.

Harrier Ev Launch Date and Pricing: What to Expect

Though Tata Motors has not yet announced the launch date officially, sources indicate that the EV is likely to be launched as early as March 2025. The electric SUV will be priced at ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, making it a premium vehicle in Tata Motors EV lineup. This price positions the Harrier EV head-to-head against a number of other electric SUVs that are due to enter the market. Such as the Mahindra XEV 7e and XEV 9e, both of which are likely to cause a splash in the Indian electric vehicle market.
