Tata Motors has formally launched Harrier ev booking for its highly anticipated. Marks a new page in India’s electric vehicle history. Bookings opened on July 2, 2025, at a token value of ₹21,000, with deliveries beginning later this month. The Harrier EV, priced at ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and is poised to take on well-established competitors. Such as the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3.
Harrier EV Booking: Segment-Leading Technology and Features
The Harrier EV is based on Tata’s new Acti.ev platform. It comes in RWD as well as AWD modes. Making it the sole model in its class to feature AWD. Customers have options for two battery packs: 65 kWh and 75 kWh. With the range-topping version offering an ARAI-certified range of up to 627 km (real-world range up to 505 km). The RWD provides 238 PS with the AWD having a rear motor supplemented by a further 158 PS front motor. For a combined 313 PS and 504 Nm of torque. Which allows it to reach 0–100 km/h in a mere 6.3 seconds.
Inside, the Harrier EV introduces the world’s first 14.53-inch Samsung Neo QLED. Infotainment screen in a vehicle, a 10-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system. Touch-sensitive HVAC controls, a 10.25-inch digital instrument display. A 540-degree surround camera. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated seats, six terrain modes. Sophisticated Level 2 ADAS safety features.
Harrier EV Booking: Design and Practicality
Whilst the Harrier EV inherits the aggressive shape of its ICE brother. It features a restyled bumper, fresh 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, and unique EV badging. The SUV is 4607 mm in length and 1922 mm wide. The widest in its class and offering segment-leading headroom and cabin space. Boot space is 502 liters and is supplemented by a 67-liter frunk for increased usability.
Charging and Battery Technology
The Harrier EV has 7.2 kW AC charging (10–100% in around 10.7 hours). 120 kW DC fast charging (20–80% in 25 minutes, range of 250 km added in 15 minutes). LFP battery technology guarantee long-lasting durability. Tata’s industry-first lifetime battery warranty covers all variants, with no conditions for ownership transfer. Something its competitors Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 do not offer, with their lifetime warranties restricted to the original owner.
