Ferrari Elettrica EV platform has launched, the iconic brand’s deepest commitment to electrification. The event at Maranello on October 9, 2025. Introduced a host of technical innovations and strategic decisions. Ensuring Ferrari’s first fully electric supercar maintains both identity and exclusivity in a changing market.
The Ferrari Elettrica: A New Chapter
Ferrari Elettrica is the result of over a decade of hybrid and F1-derived electric powertrain. The car’s platform is built around a quad-motor setup engineered entirely in-house, promising:
- Over 1,000 hp (830 kW) in boost mode.
- A 122 kWh high-density battery offering more than 530 km range per charge.
- Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
- Top speed of 310 km/h (192 mph).
Technical Highlights
- Motors & Axles: Twin electric axles with two permanent magnet synchronous motors each. Front axle delivers 210 kW, rear axle 620 kW.
- Battery & Charging: Flattened cells into the body for perfect handling. 880 V design supports up to 350 kW fast charging.
- Weight & Distribution: Around 2,300 kg, split 47% front/53% rear to guarantee traditional Ferrari handling characteristics.

What distinguishes the Elettrica:
- Custom sound experience: Specially engineered accelerometers amplify real drivetrain vibrations.
- Five selectable power levels via steering controls.
- Delivering a tailored sensation of acceleration.
- The chassis and bodyshell use 75% recycled aluminum.
- It helps cut over 6 tons of CO₂ emissions per car.

Business Strategy and Future Plans
- 2030 targets: Ferrari aims for 40% internal combustion. 40% hybrid, and 20% fully electric cars. In its lineup, a retreat from previous EV plans.
- Four new models annually are promised, with briefer runs to maintain exclusivity.
- The design of Elettrica, from Jony Ive’s design firm LoveFrom.
- It is to be unveiled fully in spring 2026. Deliveries begin late 2026.
