It has local components which support India’s drive to become self-reliant in electric mobility. The battery packs come from an Indian subsidiary of CATL.
Market Positioning of RV1
Revolt Motors is currently holding 90-95% of the electric motorcycle market share. The company aims at producing new models every year and to introduce more motorcycles rather than scooters they are having stiff competition in the category from other giants. Being within the growing electric vehicle market, the company expects 15,000 bookings for the RV1 range for Diwali. The models would also be shipped out to international locations, such as Sri Lanka since many people are showing interest in reliable electric motorcycles compared to the sheer number of cheaper and low-quality alternatives.
