The 2024 Volvo C40 Recharge has received several updates, making it more competitive in the electric SUV market. Notably, Volvo now offers two powertrain options: a Single Motor rear-wheel-drive model with an upgraded 79.0 kWh battery, providing up to 297 miles of range, and a Twin Motor all-wheel-drive version with a 75.0 kWh battery and a range of 257 miles.
The Single Motor variant prioritizes range, while the Twin Motor offers enhanced performance with 402 horsepower. Charging improvements allow fast-charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 28-34 minutes, depending on the model.
The 2024 C40 Recharge also retains Volvo’s signature safety features, such as lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and automated emergency braking. Aesthetically, the model sees minor updates, including new paint options and wheel designs. However, the overall interior and styling remain largely unchanged from previous models.
This latest update enhances the vehicle’s range and charging capabilities, while still maintaining Volvo’s commitment to safety and luxury.
