Porsche has launched its first all-electric vehicle, the Taycan in India, from Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom, India). It comes with a synchronous electric motor in multiple states of tune, across two battery pack options. The all-electric has an WLTP-claimed range of up to 484km, depending on the variant chosen.
The Porsche Taycan is priced from Rs 1.50 crore (ex-showroom, India) onwards. It locks horns with the Audi e-tron GT.
The Porsche Taycan’s synchronous electric motor is available in four states of tune: 408PS (Taycan), 571PS (4S), 670PS (Turbo), and 751PS (Turbo S). It gets two battery pack options: 79.2kWh, and 93.4kWh. It has a WLTP-claimed range of 484 (Taycan), 463km (4S), 450km (Turbo), and 420km (Turbo S). You can charge the EV from 5 to 80 percent in under 23 minutes. The 0-100kmph sprint takes 5.4 seconds (Taycan), 4 seconds (4S), and 3.2 seconds (Turbo). The range-topping Turbo S can do the same in 2.8 seconds.
