A new variant of the BMW i7, called the i7 M70 xDrive, has been globally unveiled. It’s the quickest and most powerful EV in BMW’s lineup, with its dual-motor all-wheel-drive electric system producing 660PS and 1015Nm combined.
Earlier, BMW had launched the i7 in India at a price tag of Rs 1.95 crore (ex-showroom). It is a completely imported unit, unlike its ICE-sibling which is a CKD unit. Deliveries for BMW’s flagship electric sedan will commence from March 2023.

BMW i7 Price: The all-electric version of the seventh-gen 7 Series is priced at Rs 1.95 crore (ex-showroom).
BMW i7 Variants: It is currently available in a single 740 xDrive 60 trim.
BMW i7 Electric Motor, Range and Battery Pack: The i7 is offered with dual-electric motor setup with an output of 544PS and 745Nm, fed by a 101.7kWh battery pack. It has a WLTP-certified range of 625km.
BMW i7 Charging: Its battery can be topped up from 10 to 80 percent in 34 minutes using a 195kW charger. A 22kW wallbox charger would take over five and a half hours for the same.
BMW i7 Features: The luxury electric limousine shares its features list with the new-gen 7 Series which includes a 31.3-inch 8K touchscreen display for the rear passengers, a 12.3-inch curved digital cockpit, a 14.9-inch infotainment system, powered front and rear seats with massage function, and ambient lighting.
