The Audi e-tron GT has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.80 crore (ex-showroom). The all-electric Audi comes with a 93.4kWh battery pack that juices the dual-motor setup, and has an all-wheel drivetrain. It has a World Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) range of up to 500km.
The e-tron GT doesn’t have any direct rivals at the moment in India, but will soon lock horns with the Porsche Taycan and the Mercedes EQS.
The Audi e-tron GT is powered by two electric motors, backed up by a 93.4kWh battery pack that produces 530PS/640Nm. It comes with an electric all-wheel drivetrain along with four-wheel steering (optional). The all-electric Audi goes from 0-100kmph mark in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 245kmph. In terms of WLTP-claimed range, the e-tron GT is capable of doing up to 500km over a single charge. Charging options include a 22kW AC charger and a 270kW DC charger. The e-tron can be juiced from 5-80 percent in 23 minutes via a DC charging unit. All e-tron GT customers will get a 22kWh home charger.
Audi offers the e-tron GT with features such as a 10.1-inch MMI touch infotainment system, a Bang and Olufsen sound system, connected car tech, adaptive cruise assist, voice control, tri-zone climate control, a panoramic glass roof, and powered front seats. Safety is taken care of by ABS, remote park assist, a 360-degree camera, lane departure warning, rear differential lock, and Electronic Stabilization Control.
In its segment, the Audi e-tron GT will lock horns with the Porsche Taycan and the Mercedes EQS.
