Chinese automaker BYD has officially introduced the much-anticipated Seal electric sedan to the Indian market, marking its third offering following the e6 electric MPV and the Atto 3 electric SUV. Priced competitively starting at Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom), the BYD Seal aims to make a significant impact in the electric vehicle (EV) landscape of India.
Customers reserving the BYD Seal before March 31 are entitled to exclusive benefits, including a 7kW home charger with installation service, a 3kW portable charging box, a BYD Seal VTOL mobile power supply unit, six years of roadside assistance, and complimentary first service.
Available in three variants – Dynamic, Premium, and Performance – the BYD Seal is packed with cutting-edge technologies such as Cell-to-Body (CTB) and Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control (iTAC), all built on the foundation of e-Platform 3.0. The innovative CTB technology seamlessly integrates the blade battery into the sedan’s body, developed in-house by BYD. The BYD Seal also features a heat pump system for efficient battery temperature regulation and low energy consumption. Additionally, it supports VTOL technology, serving as a portable power supply for electrical devices with a total output of up to 3,000W, alongside Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
