BYD has introduced the eMAX 7 electric MPV in the Indian market, featuring two variants: the Premium model priced at Rs 26.90 lakh and the Superior variant at Rs 29.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The eMax 7 Superior variant is equipped with a 71.8kWh battery, providing a range of up to 530 km, while the Premium variant comes with a 55.4kWh battery, offering a range of 420 km. Both models feature a front-wheel-drive setup, delivering 201bhp and 310Nm of torque, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. Additionally, the eMax 7 can be rapidly charged from 0% to 80% in just 37 minutes using a DC fast charger.
The BYD eMAX 7 showcases a contemporary design, featuring LED daytime running lights and headlamps seamlessly integrated into the grille. The updated front bumper incorporates subtle chrome accents, elevating the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal. The inclusion of a front parking camera, 360-degree view cameras, and parking sensors enhances maneuverability in tight spaces. The vehicle is equipped with standard door handles and 17-inch alloy wheels on the sides, while the rear boasts connected LED taillights and a powered tailgate for convenient loading and unloading.
Inside, the refreshed and spacious interior is available in both six and seven-seat configurations. The expansive panoramic moon-roof floods the cabin with natural light, creating an open and airy ambiance. The modern dashboard design is accentuated by a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The eMAX 7 is packed with advanced features such as a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting, offering a high level of comfort and cutting-edge technology.
The BYD eMAX 7 is designed with a strong focus on safety, incorporating six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). In addition, it features advanced safety technologies and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for enhanced driving convenience. Moreover, the eMAX 7 is equipped with Vehicle-to-Load technology, allowing it to function as a mobile power source, thereby increasing its utility and versatility.
