Tata Power and Tata Motors Expand EV Charging Network
Tata Power EV Charging Solutions, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors Limited. The partnership aims to establish 200 fast-charging stations for electric commercial vehicles (CV) across major cities in India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, and Kolkata.

The focus is on offering convenient charging solutions, particularly for small electric commercial vehicles. Tata Motors and Tata Power will offer special charging prices for Tata Motors’ electric CV owners. This initiative is designed to reduce operational costs and increase profitability for customers. Nationwide Charging Network Expansion
As part of the MoU, Tata Power EV Charging Solutions will install 200 fast chargers in strategic locations across key cities. This is part of a larger plan to offer 1,000 fast chargers nationwide, providing comprehensive access to reliable charging infrastructure for electric CV owners.

Tata Power’s EZ Charge network currently includes over 1,000,000 residential chargers, 5,500+ public and semi-public charging points, and 1,100+ bus charging stations across 530 cities and towns. These charging points are conveniently located at various accessible spots such as hotels, malls, hospitals, and residential complexes.
