4W Sales: Key Trends and Factors
- Festive Demand: September’s Navratri opening propelled robust booking and delivery numbers, particularly for Tata Motors.
- GST 2.0 Cuts: The recent GST cut for EVs drastically reduced prices, enhancing buyer sentiment. Tata’s Nexon had prices cut by up to ₹1.55 lakh, attracting greater footfalls.
- Model Launches & Feature Enhancements: The Tata Punch EV, Tiago EV, and recently facelifted Harrier EV drew new customers because of updated features, enhanced range, and improved value.
- Slight MoM deceleration: The ~13-18% decline in MoM sales versus August 2025 is in keeping with the usual buyer response. Post-festive pre-bookings, and does not indicate a negative market trend.
