The MG Comet, though still in the running as one of India’s cheapest and most feature-packed EVs. It is giving strong competition to the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroën eC3. Some critics noted that raising the BaaS rental cost. While appearing modest per kilometer, might affect long-term ownership expenses. Particularly on high-mileage owners.
Outlook for Buyers
MG Comet’s price increase in July 2025 equates to a diminishing price difference from competing electric vehicles. For customers concerned only with initial cost. The BaaS package continues to be attractive even with the higher kilometre fees. Fleet operators and customers who drive high mileage. However, might reconsider the overall cost of ownership with the new BaaS pricing.
