Subaru stole the show this week with the official launch of its new 2026 Uncharted electric SUV. Plus a revamped Solterra and news of another model. The E-Outback, as part of a major expansion of the company’s electric vehicle (EV) plans.
Subaru: World Premiere in New York
Unveiled on July 18, 2025, in New York City. Subaru Uncharted is the newest addition to Subaru’s electrification strategy. During the unveiling, Subaru executives highlighted the car’s part in “charting new territory” for the brand. Particularly in the thriving global EV market.

- Performance: Up to 338 horsepower with a dual-motor configuration. Single-motor front-wheel-drive model has 221 horsepower.

- Acceleration: 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds for Sport and GT trims.
- Charging: 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. Even in cold weather, with fast-charging and pre-conditioning technology.
